The forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be the biggest ever with 39 countries taking part in this the 50th annual contest. With so many entrants it has been decided, again, to split the show into a semi-final on May 19th with 25 countries competing against each other to join the 14 already confirmed for the grand final on May 21st. The 14 that have already qualified have done so by virtue of their scores in 2004 or financial contribution to the contest.
Prices for qualification to the finals have only been listed by a few sportsbooks, and of the prices released there are three "Major" discrepancies that we have made a play for.
First up is Israel "To Qualify" for the finals at Vic Chandlers ridiculously way out 2.10. Although they didnt qualify for last years finals they "Had" for the previous six contests and should be considered bankers of the qualifying round.
Second up is Romania "To Qualify" for the finals. They also qualified for last years final, and have done so for five of the last seven contests. Bet & Win obviously havent done their homework on this one. Romania "WILL" qualify and should be back at 1.60 with the Austrian Sportsbook to do so.
Lastly we advise backing Lativa to qualfy for the finals. Since 2000 they have only failed to qualify for the final once, and that was last year. Expect them to put that right next Thursday and go forth to the finals in Kiev on Saturday 21st. Back them "To Qualify" at 2.10 again with the "Musically Clueless" Vic Chandler.
