Not only does Renault Chief Racing Engineer Alan Permane think his cars can complete full race distance in this weekends Australian GP, he is fully expecting both drivers to be challenging for points !!

So how come Bwin still have Petrov at 1.85 to be classified in the race !!

He was cruising in 11th in Bahrain until being forced to retire with suspension problems, and a similar race performance in Melbourne could well see the Russian challenging for a top ten place. Barring mechanical faults !!

With the Renault sure to love the bumpy Albert Park circuit we fully expect Petrov to make full race distance for the first time in his F1 race career.
