Mohegan Sun Casino, Conneticut is the setting for tonights Junior welterweight title fight between WBC champion Devon Alexander and granite chinned Columbian IBF champion Juan "Iron Twin" Urango.
Alexander is a very short price for this one having overcome Brit Junior "The Hitter" Witter in his last bout to claim the vacant WBC belt, a fight we believe was, by far, his best to date. But will have his work cut out dominating Urango in such style, who himself comes off the back of a completely dominating win over former world champion Randall Bailey.
Urango has never been on the canvas let alone stopped in his 25 fight career, and we do not expect that stat to change in this one. Columbian hard-man Urango is as tough as they come and although may not win will certainly ask his younger rival some seriously demanding questions.
Layers seem to have the same opinion with most chalking this one up at around the 1.33 mark about the fight lasting into the second half of the 10th round. We though, have chosen the 1.615 on offer at Skybet about either fighter winning care of the judges, a price we find astonishing considering the same company
offer the same price about just Alexander winning on points !!
We do expect the Misouri native Alexander to triumph in the end but will definately not have things all his own way, and a hard-fought points victory looks assured.
