Advice:WBO Light Welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto (W22-L0-D0) will not be able to take out Demarcus "Chop Chop" Corley (W29-L3-D1) in the same fashion he did last time out against ex-world champion Randall Bailey (W28-L4-D0).
Bailey fought a cagey fight but got tagged by the peek-a-boo styled champion on numerous occasions, eventually getting a nasty cut above his eye. Ref stopped it at 1 minute 39 of the sixth due to the severity of the cut, but in our opinion Bailey was out on his feet at the time and was doomed for a stoppage if the ref hadn't saved him.
Corley fought Bailey back in January 2003 fighting out a unanimous point's verdict. Since the Bailey fight Corley has lost 2 decisions, but both are were to World Champions. The first was a split against the now WBC/WBA/IBF Welterweight Champion Zab Judah (W33-L2-D0), and more recently went down on a unanimous decision against "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather (W33-L0-D0).
In his nine year career Corley has NEVER been stopped and he has faced some of the greats of recent times, he fights another great in Cotto this Saturday and his granite chin will again be used to its maximum, but don't expect him to be done with before 1 minute 30 of the eighth. He is a master at recovery and should easily pass Gamebookers mark of over 7.5 rounds. Play the over-rounds at Gamebookers to medium stakes.
