Advice:
With former champions Jose Luis Castillo & Arturo Gatti both folding like a pack of cards in recent weeks, it is now the turn of Eric "El Terrible" Morales (W48-L5-D0) to follow the trend of former greats.

Morales challenges WBC Lightweight Champion David Diaz (W32-L1-D0) on Saturday night at the Allstar Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, with some in the boxing world asking themselves what the Mexican has got left to offer.

Morales has been shown-up against arch rival Manny Pacquiao (W44-L3-D2) in his two most recent fights, with the third round stoppage in his last fight being his worst performance ever in his 53 fight professional career.

Morales looked to have very weak legs entering the 3rd round of that fight, and was duely knocked down for a 2nd & 3rd time of the fight. When Morales tried to get up from the third knock-down he looked at his corner to indicate he had, had enough !!

At just 30 Morales looks a shot fighter, and will surely have to bow out of the game with a loss to Diaz.

Totesport took a real risk in laying Diaz at an opening 2.30 and have had to cut their price twice since Monday to their current offering of 1.95.

Pinnacle Sports have probably got their lines most near the mark where they make Diaz the slight favourite at 1.943 to 1.962 Morales.

With the career of Morales in a state of "Free-Fall" it is advised for all subscribers to take some of the 2.20 about Diaz with either Blue Square or top fight layers Bwin to medium stakes. We fully expect Diaz with home crowd advantage to stop Morales somewhere between the 9th and final frame.
