Advice:World number 37 Ricky Walden should beat 19 year-old Chinese sensation Tian Pengfei in todays group qualification match for the Royal London Watches Grand Prix (Formerly The Rothmans GP).
Pengfei was a sensation in the first tournament of the 2006/7 season. He beat Dutchman Roy Stolk 5-0 in the 1st round. Followed That up with a 5-1 thumping of Robin Hull, then dumped 21 year-old world number 26 Jamie Cope 5-1. Not done with he also took the scalp of Andy Hicks 5-3 in round four. It took a monumentous effort from former World Champion Shaun Murphy to oust the young Chinaman 5-4.
The same tournament saw our selection Walden beaten in his first pro match of the season 5-3 by Rory McLeod in the fourth round.
Pengfei has found it hard though to keep up that frantic start to the season. He lost 3-0 to Issara Kachaiwong just yesterday, and struggled to get past Mathew Couch 3-2 on Saturday!
Our "Very" confident selection Ricky Walden beat Pengfei conqueror Issara Kachaiwong 3-0 just six hours after the new recruit Kachaiwong stuffed Pengfei.
Walden is a different class to the young Chinese player and should record a 3-1 or 3-2 victory. Take $300 worth of the 1.70 on offer at Bet & Win. Next best is the 1.667 with Paddy Power.
